Volunteering
Women’s Legal Service (SA) provides meaningful and flexible opportunities for those interested in volunteering their time and unique talents.
Volunteers are an integral part of our service that enable us to help more women across South Australia.
Legal Volunteering
We have two intakes a year for legal volunteers - a Summer and Winter intake.
We accept applications from law students, graduates and legal practitioners.
SUMMER 21/22 INTAKE
Applications now open until 22 January 2022
Please send through a CV and cover letter indicating your interest in the program.
Applications are accepted all year round and we will keep your interest on file for the next upcoming intake.
“Volunteering with WLSSA was such a rewarding experience, one that I will take with me throughout my legal career. I came into my first shift feeling quite nervous but everyone at WLSSA made me feel welcome and gave me the appropriate support and training I needed to feel confident in my role. I had the opportunity to provide general legal information on the phones, and make appointments for the solicitors. Volunteering at WLSSA is an experience that a law degree cannot provide, and I am grateful for that opportunity”
