Who We Are
The Women’s Legal Service SA (WLSSA) is a non-profit organisation and operates by funding received from the Australian Attorney-General’s Department as well as private donations.
Without this support, Women’s Legal Service (SA) would not be able to provide free legal advice and assistance to women in South Australia who experience domestic violence and family law matters.
Women’s Legal Service (SA) was established in October 1995 and is a state-wide community based organisation run by a management committee, staff and volunteers.
Board and Management
WLSSA is a non-profit company limited by guarantee. It has a voluntary board of nine directors. The day-to-day management of the services is delegated to the Executive Officer and Principal Solicitor.
Staff and Volunteers
WLSSA has around 20 staff at one time, including solicitors, social workers, community education coordinators, interns and volunteers.
To support the work of WLSSA, please donate to ensure we are able to continue providing legal assistance to women across South Australia.
